Where should I even start? I suppose if you knew we were from the south, you would understand why we came home.

If you knew we were conservative Christians who believe in the American traditional family values, you would say Texas is where you belong! LOL

If I were able to explain the smell and taste of Biscuits and Gravy early in the morning and you could feel what I feel? I am sure you would understand.

Watching an early morning Texas sunrise; holding a cup of coffee; hearing the birds; smelling the beautiful smog free air; thinking about all the cowboys who roamed these parts before me; and the kindness and hospitality of all these fellow Texans, see what I mean?.

I was watching an Armadillo next to me forage through the leaves for food; in my mind I could hear myself say, why would I ever want to live anywhere else besides God's great State of Texas?

Here is the deal for all of you who keep asking why I left Washington. Let me start by saying Washington was not my home State!

Although it is green and lots of trees, 9 months of constant rain was not really my preferential habitat!

The wife an I, we have lived all over the USA, and I have also lived and worked for the governments of third world countries. I have seen and felt what it was like to live in far away places.

Today, I can tell you this: I am home, where I feel home! Every part of me is comfortably home.

So to answer all those questions,

Texas is my natural habitat! All I did was move home, and I have no intention of ever moving anywhere else. I have had my feel of all of America and there is no place in the world, that is in any way equal to my State!

The great State of Texas!

My Home!!!!!!
