Rory's 1971 Beautiful Cadillac Coupe Deville

Let me start this repair page by explaining what we are doing for Rory? This Caddy is all original! It has severe engine damage.

The weather has us preoccupied, but we have removed the engine and will be building the new one shortly.

We are going to replace the engine with a fresh built core!

Here are a few pictures to get you started on this project?

So this was just a tease! The engine is out of this car and I will be tearing it down tomorrow to get an inside look, so be watching for it?

Hey the engine is back from the rebuild part of our company, just moved it into the reassembly shop this morning, so here a few pic's o the completed block and heads.

Heading over to the refinishing department!

What a solid structure! I suppose you would have to be me to understand? But each awesome Cadillac that comes through my shop, is mine until it goes home. So as with all these classic beauties, this engine is exceptional! Zero miles!

At this time, I am waiting on some special parts before I can reinstall, like the left side exhaust manifold, two weeks out! UGH! However, this gives us time to finish restoring the rest of the engine.

Finishing the engine before install!
