Jimmy's DTS

This is a very beautiful DTS and has a very special story behind it.

First, this is a H/G plus block seal. Not sure about the gaskets. That is not why it is here. It is here because oil leaks. This quickly became a preventive H/G fix as well.

Great idea to do the H/G's while the engine is out--the oil leak repair (Block Seal) is a $1800 repair. So it will only cost 450 since we are going to do the block studding.

Anyhow, I treat all my clients cars as my own, but this Cadillac has taken a special place in my heart. This beautful DTS belonged to Jimmy's Grandmother, who from what Jimmy has told me, always had Cadillacs with her husband. She had taste in cars!

Jimmy told me he is looking forward to having her car and taking care of it in her memory. So needless to say, this Cadillac has a special place here at CCC.

SoJimmy, here is some pics of your DTS.

So, we've removed and tore down a bit, as you can see a lot of oil seapage.

Stay tuned for a lot more detailed info as we proceed.

Hey, we have been extremely busy and it is hard to post pic's everynight when you don't get off work until 10:30pm

So we are now complete with this job, as the owner needs it and lives quite the distance from here.

Jimmy' here some pic's to remember,

Here she is all complete, I personally love the Deville, especially this body style.

Your Grandparents had awesome taste. Your going to love this car, I do and it isn't even mine, LOL.

I enjoy every Cadillac I repair or build. That is the joy that got me started in my business. What man doesn't dream of working with the finest automobile ever.

Anyhow, as you can see.... Well, speechless is the word.

Hope you enjoy these pictures, Tim.

P.S. Lots of archived photos. If you ever want some or would like to view online, just send us a request.
