This story is about one of our own who has contacted us from Afganastan, he resides in Texas.

Jason has acquired a '98 Deville which was in need of a H/G job, he found our website and decided he wanted CCC, to do a personal build. So stay tuned as we start out on a jouney to build his Northstar.

Hey all,

Today I have been preparing the donor engine block and as always they are filthy, LOL

Normally you see me tearing it apart, but! That is cause it usually comes out of your car and it seems fine to let the world see it.

In this case as all engine orders to build they are not coming out of your car? Correct?

So, the filthy part I do not post, LOL rest assured I am past inspection of said block, tomorrow it will be finely cleaned for rebuild, so I will post plenty of pic's tomorrow night.

I try to have them ready before I get your calls, but, this time of year I have more orders for engines then time to do them in.

So, hang in there and enjoy the ride!!!

Also the heads will be remanned tomorrow so you'll see the pic's of them as well, I am excited!!!!! You should be too! Another fine Northstar from CCC, is about to unfold.

I am getting a later start then I wanted to, but we are pulling it together.
Who is this guy?
You think this looks awesome, you should see it in real life!
Perfectly formed! OK this is where I begin to reassemble.
Micro inspection not a detail missed!
Lapping the valves for a perfect seat!
New seal installation.
Valve spring installation & Lifters.
I call this the head shop' or Papa's pad when Mama's mad! LOL
I love Cadillac's!!!!!!
Holy smokes! I suffered an over exposure to Berryman's parts dip, for awhile there I was wondering if I was going to make it? No kidding! I have never had such a reaction, if you have read the label, you'll know why.
Anyhow, before my demise yesterday, I did finsh the cylinder heads.
OK, were past the heads and time to concentrate on building the block.
Time to get started on this bad jewel'
Today is Monday, after the delay we just might stay on schedule.
It is on' and it is over!
This should come as a pleasent surprise, I had what I needed today and went for it so, I will be sending it off tomorrow, Texas bound!
The benefits of working at my home shop, LOL
Yes,Jason this is your engine and will be shipped out tomorrow.
I will let you know its ETA as soon as I know? She went together rather sweetly!
